The aim of MeglioMilano is to improve the quality of life in the city by organizing projects and conducting investigations related to specific aspects or segments of the population identified each time, while taking into consideration its sustainability and creditworthiness on the territory and with the local authorities.
MeglioMilano may promote or create other organisms which pursue the same aims or which participate at them.

The organisation is governed by a Board of Directors which include from seven up to fifteen members. Six members at least are appointed by the Founding Partners, whereas one member is chosen among the representatives of the universities located in Milan. Board members hold office for three years and can be re-elected.
They elect the Chairman, three Vice-Presidents, and the Secretary-General who attends the Board meetings.

The Technical Committee includes five members at least who are appointed by the Board of Directors and hold office for three years. It has a Chairman which is appointed by its members. The members of the Technical Committee are representatives of the financial, cultural and scientific world of Milan and its universities.
